The Open

Binance reopened withdrawals on Sunday, Bitcoin first at 06:00 UTC, then Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain, 15 assets and networks by 12:36 UTC. None is a stock token, so bStocks, the 1:1 backed claims worth $1.3B and 36% of this tape, still look locked on the exchange until phase two. Meanwhile the issuer revolt against the first US venue hit 50 names, with Nvidia, Nike and Costco objecting to OKXICE tokens of their shares.

THE 3AM LINE: rwa.xyz printed $3.58B as of Nov 1, down about $200M from Oct 30 as the tokens marked Friday's stock rout over a closed weekend; Intel's bStock fell 29%, matching the share; Polymarket did not trade.

Top of the Tape

Weekend in one line: the exchange reopened its door, the issuers kept closing theirs, and the tokens did their job in between.

Chart of the Day

"The tokens marked the rout." Paired horizontal bars for five names: Friday's stock move beside the Oct 30 to Nov 1 change in the token's on-chain value, so the eye sees the pairs nearly match while the NYSE was shut.

Data points (stock move Oct 30; token value change Oct 30 to Nov 1 on rwa.xyz, our subtraction): Intel −29% close vs INTCB −28.7% ($55.1M to $39.3M); Securitize −9.4% intraday vs SECZ −10.3% ($225.4M to $202.2M); Circle −9% vs CRCLB −9.3% ($161.1M to $146.1M); Figure −9% vs FGRS −8.7% ($56.2M to $51.3M); Strategy −8% vs MSTRB −7.9% ($107.4M to $98.9M). Sources: TheStreet (Intel close), TokenPost (Circle, Figure, Strategy), MarketBeat (Securitize intraday), rwa.xyz (Oct 30 and Nov 1 reads). Caveat: token value mixes price and supply, so label the token bars "value"; only Intel's move is a close.

Flow Watch

The Rulebook

US. Moved. OKXICE's Oct 30 notice lists 50 objecting issuers, from 38 on Oct 28 and 26 on Oct 26; the objections cover 44 of the original 63 symbols (crypto.news; TokenPost; The Defiant). The SEC's TSV list still shows three venues, last updated Oct 21 (SEC). Nasdaq told crypto.news it prefers issuer-led tokenization and targets Q2 2027 with Kraken. For a holder: an objection blocks only third-party tokens on that US venue; offshore backed claims and trackers of Nvidia trade as before.

EU. No change. ESMA's DLT28 proposal and tokenised-collateral call for evidence stand (ESMA).

Other. The FBI attributed the Binance theft to North Korea's TraderTraitor on Oct 31, matching TRM and Chainalysis (Insurance Journal; Atlanta News First / AP). For a holder: no rule moved; the exchange-risk paragraph in the bStocks FAQ is now a state-actor paragraph.

Deal Flow

The Playbook (Pro)

Run the bStocks basis before phase two does it for you. bStocks are 1:1 backed claims: a token on BNB Chain, a share at a custodian, convertible on Binance. Until a later phase names stock tokens, there are two prices for one claim: the exchange book and the BNB Chain pool. Pull both for CRCLB, SPCXB, MSTRB and INTCB at the 9:30 am ET open, log the spread against the NYSE print, and repeat at each phase notice. Then read today's proof-of-reserves report for one line: shares in custody equal to tokens outstanding. A spread inside a point when the pipe opens means the structure held through the largest theft on record; anything wider is the first clean measure of exchange risk inside a backed claim.

RISK LINE: phase two has no timetable, a thin BNB Chain pool can print a spread one trade wide, the PoR report may not break out bStocks collateral, and Monday's cash open can gap past any weekend mark.

Odds

Polymarket, "First to list tokenized stocks in the US?": no listing by Dec 31, 2027 38.0%, Robinhood 30%, Coinbase 15.8%, Kraken 13.1%, Gemini 7%; volume $97,869, unchanged since Oct 30, so no weekend trades. Coinbase ladder ($10,458, unchanged): Oct 31 4%, Dec 31 27%, Mar 31 68%, Jun 30 73%. The Oct 31 leg expired with Coinbase silent and awaits resolution. No Kalshi market found.

Sign-off

The exchange reopened, the issuers kept objecting, and $200M of tape repriced while Wall Street slept. That's the tape. The bell isn't ringing.

Corrections and disclosures

No corrections to the Oct 31 issue surfaced. One update: that issue said Binance targeted a phased reopening on Sunday Nov 1 and a proof of reserves on Nov 2; the reopening happened on schedule, and the full zero-knowledge verification is now dated Nov 3 (crypto.news). One note: the OKXICE objector count we carried at 38 was superseded by the Oct 30 notice at 50, published after Saturday's send.
