The Open

Binance lost about $6.3B from a hot wallet at 8:05 pm UTC on Oct 29, the largest theft in crypto's history, and shut withdrawals until about Sunday. Binance is home to bStocks, the 1:1 backed claims that make up $1.4B, 37% of the tokenized-stock tape; no Binance notice names them, and rwa.xyz shows their value flat. Underneath, the stocks closed October with a rout: Nasdaq −2.84%, Intel −29%, Coinbase −13%, Securitize −9% intraday, and the weekend tape opens on those prints.

THE 3AM LINE: rwa.xyz printed $3.78B, up about $10M, with 30-day transfer volume jumping $0.69B to $10.80B; Ondo's trackers lost $15.8M with the stocks; Polymarket traded for the first time in a week.

Top of the Tape

One night: the biggest exchange lost a hot wallet, Intel had its worst day since 1974, and the tokens kept trading. The market that never closes just got its first real stress weekend.

Chart of the Day

"What the tokens carry into the weekend." Horizontal bars of Friday's percent move for each underlying with a token on rwa.xyz, worst at the top, each bar labeled with the token's on-chain value, so the eye sees that the biggest drops sit on the smallest tokens and the mid-size drops sit on the big ones.

Data points (Oct 30 move; token value on rwa.xyz, Oct 30): Intel −29% close, INTCB $55.1M; Reddit −29% close, no token in the top 25; Coinbase −13% (TokenPost, intraday-or-close unstated), no token in the top 25; AMD −12.02% at 1:36 pm ET, no token in the top 25; Circle −9% (TokenPost), CRCLB $161.1M + CRCLon $87.4M + CRCLx $59.8M = $308.3M; Securitize −9.4% intraday (MarketBeat), SECZ $225.4M; Figure −9% (TokenPost), FGRS $56.2M; Strategy −8% (TokenPost), MSTRB $107.4M + MSTRx $76.4M = $183.8M; Nasdaq Composite −2.84% close (TheStreet) as the reference line. Flow Watch

The Rulebook

US. No change. The SEC's TSV list still shows three venues, last updated Oct 21 (SEC). OKXICE objectors stand at 38 of 62 per the Oct 28 notice; Friday's Dell and JPMorgan headlines republished the Oct 27 notice (Yahoo Finance; Daily Hodl). For a holder: nothing changes; the first 30-day windows from the Oct 4 notice lapse in early November.

EU. No change. ESMA's DLT28 proposal and tokenised-collateral call for evidence stand as reported (ESMA).

Other. No regulator had spoken on the Binance theft by press time; Binance is working with the FBI and promises proof of reserves on Nov 2 (Bitcoin.com). For a holder: no rule moved; the exchange-risk line in every issuer FAQ just got longer.

Deal Flow

The Playbook (Pro)

Price your weekend before it prices you. Every token you hold or lend against marks to one of two regimes until Monday. Aave's Horizon market keys off Chainlink's new 24/7 feed, which blends perpetual-venue quotes while the NYSE is shut, so a tokenized Intel there already carries Friday's −29% plus whatever Saturday adds (TokenPost, Oct 29). Aave V4 on Base, where Coinbase's backed claims sit, holds the last published price while interest accrues (Cointribune, Oct 29). Sort your positions by regime. Under the stale feed, size borrows so a Monday gap the size of Friday's cannot liquidate you. Under the live feed, log the DEX print against Friday's close for INTC, COIN, CRCL and MSTR tokens every few hours; nobody has published that weekend-basis dataset yet.

RISK LINE: oracle regimes change without notice, Binance's reopening can slip past Sunday, a tracker (Ondo GM) carries issuer credit on top of price, and DEX prints on $55M tokens can be one trade wide.

Odds

Polymarket, "First to list tokenized stocks in the US?": no listing by Dec 31, 2027 38.0%, Robinhood 30%, Coinbase 15.8%, Kraken 13.1%, Gemini 7%; volume $97,869, up from $90,248 on Oct 29, the first trades in a week. Coinbase ladder ($10,458, from $8,169): Oct 31 4%, Dec 31 27%, Mar 31 68%, Jun 30 73%; the Mar 31 leg more than doubled from 31%. No Kalshi market found. The Oct 31 leg expires today with Coinbase silent on a US launch. Caveat: Polymarket disclosed a sub-$3M breach at a third-party provider on Oct 29 (CoinDesk).

Sign-off

The biggest exchange lost $6.3B, Intel lost 29%, and the tokens traded through both. That's the tape. The bell isn't ringing.

Corrections and disclosures

No corrections to the Oct 30 issue surfaced. One clarification: we wrote Coinbase's "Q3 revenue was $1.22B"; Friday's coverage puts net revenue at $1.16B, down 34% year on year, so the $1.22B is total revenue and should be labeled as such (24/7 Wall St). One note: yesterday's Flow Watch said Polymarket had not traded for a sixth day; it traded on Oct 30.
